Even though we got a glimpse of Gretchen Wieners’ post-Mean Girls life (being the queen bee of the Asians), you must be wondering what present-day Gretchen is up to and the answer may surprise you. Actress Lacey Chabert is back in a new romantic comedy called Christian Mingle — yep, the Christian online dating site.
The film follows Gwyneth (Chabert) as she fakes being Christian in order to meet cute guys online and in the process, she meets Paul, who is played by The L.A. Complex‘s Jonathan Patrick Moore. Yes, the two fall in love, but will the relationship last when the super religious Paul finds out that Gwyneth has been lying to him the entire time?
Admittedly, the trailer looks cheesy as heck and we even cringed several times watching it, but it does feature two actors we love so why not give it a shot. That, or just sit at home and re-watch Mean Girls and The L.A. Complex, which is also acceptable. Watch the trailer for Christian Mingle below and tell us what you think!
